구름과 눈과 태양은 어디에서나 볼 수 있죠. 그것을 올려다보는 저 또한 그렇게 평범한 인생을 살아가는구나-라고 생각했어요. 그러던 어느 날 갑자기 신께서 스테이지 위에서 멋지게 빛나는 사람들을 보여주셨어요. 그때부터 나도 빛나고 싶다는 무모한 꿈을 꾸기 시작했어요. 열심히 음악을 만들고, 그것들을 표현하기 위해 그림을 그렸습니다. 그러는 동안 그 즐거움은 무엇보다 행복을 느끼게 해주었고, 그것이야말로 제 삶을 빛내는 방법이란 것을 깨달았습니다.

그림을 그리는 한국 출신 싱어송라이터 아스카 킴(ASUKA KIM), 데뷔 8년 차, 18곡의 싱글 앨범을 발매. 음악을 발매할 때마다 앨범자켓 디자인을 스스로 그리다 보니 하나 둘씩 작품이 쌓이게 되면서 화가로서의 꿈을 키우게 되었습니다.

‘한국 컨텐츠 진흥원’과 ‘아리랑TV미디어’가 주최하는 국가지원사업의 해외 진출 컨텐츠로 선정되어, 그림을 그리는 싱어송라이터로서 일본 진출과 더불어 화가로서 데뷔하게 되었습니다. 영혼을 가득 담아 노래하고 그림을 그리는 인생을 선택하여, 한 발 한 발 나아가고 있습니다.

Clouds, snow, and the sun can be seen everywhere. Looking at them, I too thought that I was living an ordinary life. Then, all of a sudden, God showed me something beautiful and shining on stage. From then on, I began to have the reckless dream of shining like myself. I desperately made music that I put all my heart into, and drew pictures as an expression of that. The joy of doing so brought me happiness more than anything else. That was exactly the way for me to continue living a shining life.

Asuka Kim, a Korean singer-songwriter who draws a painting. Debut 8 years singer. Released 18 single albums. Every time she released the music, she painted the album jacket design for herself, and she dreamed of becoming a painter as she accumulated her works one by one. She was selected as an overseas expansion content of the national support project hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency and Arirang TV Media, and as a singer-songwriter who draws a painting, she debuted as a painter with entering into Japan.. She choose a life of singing and drawing with a full of souls, and she is going step by step.
